(also used by Omega, Baume and Mercier and Longines). Date and day (digit 1-7).
Sweep second at 12 with Certina logo. Made from 1975 to 1976. Inside you will find a very rare Certina 749 (ESA 9210) tuning fork movement. The sweep second is the small hand at 12 o clock. The tuning fork movement is the ancestor of quartz.
It emits a high pitch sound. Really funky early electronic movement. This example is fully functional. Even the often faulty day / date functions work fine.
In good overall condition not polished. There are some scratches and marks present but not bad for a 45 years old watch. Doesn't miss a beat. The chrono functions operate as they should. Bracelet is just generic but its decent quality. The item "Vintage Certina Chronolympic C-Tronic ESA 9210 Tuning Fork Chronograph 1975" is in sale since Thursday, February 25, 2021.
