Vintage 1974 Citizen Hisonic 3721A Imported Tuning fork watch serviced & running
Beautiful Citizen Hisonic tuning fork in great condition. This model is a Citizen Hisonic with a 3721A movement. This movement was a licensed copy of the popular Bulova Accutron 218. There is one notable difference with the Citizen version being that there is a third stem position which disconnects the battery for long term storage of the watch. The watch has a robust 38mm stainless steel case with a soft grey dial.
The dial sports silver markers with black tops. There are light signs of general wear and use, including on the original crystal. The dial and hands are in great original condition, the clean crisp numerals stand out nicely. The styling of this watch speaks greatly beyond its manufacture in July of 1974.
The 3721A movement has been fully serviced and phased to suit modern silver oxide batteries.
