A beautiful, complete, Old Hall Alveston 82 pce Cutlery set in the original canteen. Beautifully designed by Robert Welch and made in Sheffield, Alveston won a coveted Design Centre award in the 1960's.

The set comprises 8 each Table Knife, Table Fork, Dessert Knife, Dessert Fork, Fish Knife, Fish Fork, Coffee Spoon, Tea Spoon, Dessert Spoon, Soup Spoon plus 2 Serving Spoons. The solid wood Canteen is finished in Teak and Rosewood and is baize lined with fittings to hold all the items individually and opens each side for easy access. There are a couple of small knocks on the edge of the canteen but these are minor.

The cutlery is satin finished with bright finish to the knife blades and the knives are made with hollow handles to be comfortable to grip and to use - a sign of really top class manufacturing.
