It is Paris Galibier frame from the 1940s or 50s possibly with its original paintwork and stencilling. There are two forks with the bike although neither of them will fit without some alteration. The threaded steering parts are too short for the frame. It is a large frame with a 23.5" seat tube and 22" top tube. The paintwork does need full restoration but it is rare to find a bike of this age which hasn't been repainted several times over the years. The paintwork could well be original. There is an old repair to the rear dropout on the right hand side. Included with the bike is a reproduction front head badge. The seat tube has possibly been cut down around the position the seatpost clamp should be. Please see the final photograph.
