This is probably the most unusual case made by Omega for the Tuning fork caliber 1250 (ESA 9162). Part of the Seamaster family, this reference 198.012 from 1970 has a screwed down case back but also screwed bracelet with a ring attaching the bracelet around the case back. The watch is in very good original condition.
Unpolished, the 41mm case still has it's brushed finish and sharp angles with only a few light scratches. The dark grey, slightly blue, dial has vertical brushed finish with tritium dots. The Seamaster case back too doesn't show any sign of polishing with circular brushing and sharp engraving. The case measures 41mm without crown, 46mm lug to lug, 11mm thick with a 17mm lug width. The tuning fork movement is running well, keep time and doesn't show and issue. It don't know the service history. The bracelet is the original Omega 1125. Watches cannot be guaranteed as perfect and long lasting. I describe the watch as I see it. I usually don't know the service history of the watch and would advise to have it serviced in order to keep it running for a long time.
