Omega Electronic Genève F300Hz Chronometer from 1972. The watch is in an overall excellent original condition. The silver sunburst dial is mint, with applied indexes matching the hands and original lume. The case shows some light scratches but seems to have never been polished. It is powered by a Tuning fork movement (Omega 1250 / ESA 9162) Swiss made under Bulova's licence.
It has 12 jewels and the time is controlled by the vibrations of the tuning fork at 300 beat per second resulting in a smooth sweeping second hand and a typical "humming" sound. It is running very well, keeps time and all functions works. These movements represent the peak of development of electric movements in the 1970s before quartz. They can still be serviced and fixed today easily.
The case measures 38mm without crown, 42mm lug to lug, 10.5mm thick with a 19mm lug width. It comes with a new dark blue Swedish leather strap. Watches cannot be guaranteed as perfect and long lasting.
I describe the watch as I see it. I usually don't know the service history of the watch and would advise to have it serviced in order to keep it running for a long time. The water resistance is not tested.
