For sale is a lightly used custom handmade frameset from Marinoni out of Montreal. I built it up up modern parts, enjoyed it for about 100 miles of riding, but have since moved to a part of the world where skinny tire road riding is not easy to come by.
The frame is a 54cm built from top-of-the-line Columbus SLX tubing with Campagnolo dropouts. Here is a bit more about this tubing. Was released in the early 1980s as the pinnacle of Columbus tubing, made of. In order to make it stiffer and better suited to a variety of terrain, it used a helicoidal reinforcement to the bottom bracket, butted downtube sections and lighter chain stays. Included in the sale (if you want them) are the seatpost, downtube cable guides, SRAM GPX Team bb, FSA Duron X headset, and treadless stem adaptor. With these items, however, you can run this rig with a truly modern setup (sans disk brakes, of course). The frameset has never had any dents or rust and has only a few minor blemishes (see photos). It appears and rides practically brand new. The front derailleur is bolt-on and there are two sets of braze-ons for bottle cages. TT (c to c): 55cm. ST (c to c): 54cm.
