The two main exponents of the tuning fork movement, originally used by Bulova from an ETA design, were Longines and Omega, both of whom significantly improved on the originals. The rarest examples of all are the Longines, probably because they were quite a bit more expensive. This watch must be one of the finest examples of a "hummer" currently available. Not only does it look superb, but it keeps time perfectly over a 12 hour test period. Collectors will be aware that the louder the hum, the greater the wear.
This one is almost silent. Being the Flagship model it features a superior bracelet with a handsome wing logo on the clasp and a generic watch box is included free of charge Similar watches are often priced in four figures so this price represents a real bargain.
