52 cm Survivor Vintage Richard Sachs Signature Frame & Fork Made in the USA. Note the beautifully filed lug work and cutouts. Signature model built with unmarked tubing, which most likely means a mix of brands. The fork shows the Columbus rifling inside and is built with a Haden investment cast crown, the frame features a Cinelli BB shell, long 1010 Campagnolo dropouts with eyelets, and short point cutout lugs.
There is only 1 set of water botte brazed-on mounts. Circa mid to late 1970's.
Weight as pictured: 2,527 grams 5 lbs. This bike apparently had been neglected and abandoned, but is in very good mechanical shape, no dents, bent tubes, or signs of crashes. No apparent internal rust, but surface rust in some areas, chipped and scratched paint. The right chain stay paint was actually ruined by the chain rusting on it, not from use.
Most, if not all, of the damage seems to have happened in storage, not from use. Note that brake fittings are for full length bolts, and the clearance is for 52 mm (long/normal reach) brakes. Frame size: 52 cm (Actually measures 51.5 cm center to top). Top tube: 53 cm (center to center). Rear dropout spacing: 127 mm.
Front dropout spacing: 100 mm. Frame Tubing : Mixed tubing, as there are no stickers. Fork threading: 1 x 24 (English).
Fork crown race diameter: 26.4 mm. Fork stack height: 41 mm.
Seat tube diameter: 27.2 mm. Bottom bracket threading: 1.37 x 24 (English).
