Finished in Bob Jackson Golden Yellow enamel with red lug-lining; red BOB JACKSON block letter transfers on down tube; Bob Jackson crest on seat tube; Bob Jackson metal head badge (self-tapping screw fit) - which is a bit of a rarity since BJs routinely just have a transfer headbadge; Reynolds 531C transfer at top of seat tube, matching Reynolds fork transfers at top of fork blades. Weights: frame 2,089g (4.61lb); forks 660g (1.46lb); total 2,749g (6.06lb). Originally in Bob Jackson Bright Yellow enamel. Fully reconditioned and re-sprayed by Bob Jackson Cycles in 2014 into current finish. Rust inhibitor was applied internally to frame by Bob Jacksons at time of refurbishment.Since refurbishment has been ridden for 771Km (482 miles) Strava data - in dry weather during summer season only. Although it is specced for mudguards, none have ever been fitted. There are some minor paint chips mainly on the stays, including a group of tiny chips from chain slap on the R/H chainstay. One or two of these (but not those on the R/H chainstay) have penetrated through the undercoat. These have been subsequently treated with clear laquer. Otherwise there are the usual minor usage marks and wear and tear e. Around dropouts or where equipment has been fitted that you would expect from 500 or so miles of road use. Additional photographs available on request to illustrate any detail required - just send me a message. Potential build/use: The re-spaced rear end (to current road standard 130mm) allows a build using contemprary 11-speed running gear.
A full period correct build is also still possible (as shown in the final photo with a Dura-Ace 7400 series full groupset) and, obviously, anything else you fancy. Take note of the longish brake-drop, however. Frame will be carefully packed in a proper frame box with spacers to protect the drop-outs.
The last photograph showing the frame built up is for illustration only. None of the components shown, beyond the bare frame and forks, is included in sale price.
